This is fabulous to hear about! Several folks at UF have been involved in Digital History classes, and I just learned about (I think) the longest running Digital History course in Florida and the Caribbean, at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, taught since 2012 by Debbie McCollin (uwidigitalhistory.wordpress.com/instructor-information/). We should all be sharing more on courses, so it will be great to learn and share together!

I definitely want to learn from this important discussion. I hope we have many folks in on this conversation because technology is never neutral, and we must be actively engaged in technology lest technology be seen as an invisible and objective and neurtal force–which it is not–and the real world violence that creates and allows. Thank you for posting this important session!

I’d love to know more about the touchtable in the Harn, for use in bringing classes to the Harn for folks to use the interface in their exploration and learning! I’d also love to know more about touch tables and how the Harn cretes content to learn more about the possibilities!
